Cotuit Center for the Arts is ready to spread wings!
The Center is proud to announce a new program, Cotuit on the Road, in partnership with Brave Horse Music, founded by Ruth Condon. Ruth has produced many of the Center’s biggest recent successes including “What the World Needs Now: A Musical Tribute to Burt Bacharach”, “The Beat Goes On”, “Love is Blind: Music Inspired by Amy Winehouse”, “Anthony Teixeira and Friends Sing Tony Bennett Duets”, “The Kami Lyle Sit-A-While”, and “Pretty World”, with more projects in development.
Some of these productions will hit the road and be presented in Orleans, Dennis and Sandwich, and the collaboration is currently exploring venues over the bridge in Boston, New York and points between.

October 8 at the Cape Playhouse
Cape Cod's own Sit-A-While with Kami Lyle as host where National Artists meet Local Talent!
What is a Sit-A-While? A Sit-A-While is an evening of great music and a gathering of friends set in a variety of cozy, Oceanside settings across Cape Cod. Each Sit-A-While showcases Cape Cod's beautiful venues as we move around to different towns. Our guests will perform their favorite songs in a round with custom musical jingles for our sponsors interspersed with stories, skits performed by the Cape’s prominent business owners, and more great music! We have teamed up with international radio station WMVY to broadcast the shows on their website and with Live From Center Stage to videotape and broadcast locally.
October 8, the Sit-A-While features Al Anderson and Jill Sobule in a performance at the historic Cape Playhouse.
