Film
Welcome to Cotuit Center for the Arts 2013 Film Club! We are excited to present 15 films to be screened in thematic “mini series”. In April we present “Artists who change perceptions”, in May “From Stage to Screen” with work from 3 playwrights who changed the shape of American Theater and pushed the cinematic envelope, in November an “International Culinary Adventure”, and also in November the” Shoot It. View It. Do It. At Cotuit.” festival featuring short films produced during workshops and classes, followed by a mélange of films with varying themes and collaborations.
We are pleased to present a wide variety of films in collaboration with the Woods Hole Film Festival, the Cape Cod Theater Project and Independent Film Festival Boston (IFFBoston)
All screenings will take place at 7pm, and we will have a full bar open for 30 minutes following each film so that our audiences can discuss these powerful films. In many cases we will have film makers or representatives of the film available for talk-backs as well.
When you join us for a screening, you will receive a “View it. At Cotuit. Film Club” card. For every third screening you attend in 2013 you will receive a token for a complimentary concession. We will also offer a variety of discounted ticketing options, so tickets for screenings will only be available at the door.
