Each year there are several signature special events including the annual Poetry and Chili Festival, Entertainment Tonight!, our monthly Wine and Music Wednesday gatherings, the monthly Salon of Shorts, 2nd Wednesday Theater and the annual Art and Souls Masquerade Ball.  


Salon of Shorts

Ongoing: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7:30pm

Cotuit Center for the Arts offers an open mic series called Salon of Shorts on the third Wednesday of each month in the Art Studio. Award-winning poets, playwrights, and spoken word performers Christine Rathbun Ernst and Gregory Hischak host the series, which encompasses all types of performances: poetry, storytelling, essay reading, music, performance art, improv, and stand-up.

Kicking off July 1st ~ the return of Friday Happy Hour at the Cotuit Center For the Arts!

Come Join Celeste Howe as she sings your favorite songs from Bacharach to Berlin and everything in between. Malcolm Granger will be tinkling the ivories as this Cape Cod vocal treasure delights you with sincere and soulful song. Enjoy your cocktails and enjoy this musical ride that’s sure to delight. Seaside LeMans Fundraiser

It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s family-friendly and it’s FREE! Mark your calendars for Saturday September 10, 2016 for the 16th Annual Seaside Le Mans –The Race for the Cape Cod Community. The race begins at noon as thousands gather to watch this annual 4-hour endurance race of European-style Formula One race karts on a one-quarter mile outdoor track around Mashpee Commons.

The Last Gasp: Bicycle Ride Fundraiser

The Last Gasp Ride Cyclists and Sponsors Needed!

The Last Gasp is a daylong fundraising event for eight of the Cape’s most distinguished nonprofit organizations.

Wine & Music Wednesday Sept 2016

Wine and Music Wednesday is an open house held in our Gallery on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, with wine tasting and live music.

The first event was held in March of 2010 and it has become a very popular event at the Center. It’s the perfect way to end your day, start your evening or just join friends for a night out looking at terrific art. Tickets are just $10 or $5 for members and are only available at the door.

An exciting two-part event that brings Cape Cod dancers and dance professionals together to showcase our favorite art form and the joy of dance!

16th Annual Art & Souls Costume Ball

Come celebrate the 16th year of our horrifyingly fun Halloween dance party -- this year's theme will be "Sweet Sixteen Zombie Prom Night!"  Time to party with the undead!
