Each year there are several signature special events including the annual Poetry and Chili Festival, Entertainment Tonight!, our monthly Wine and Music Wednesday gatherings, the monthly Salon of Shorts, 2nd Wednesday Theater and the annual Art and Souls Masquerade Ball.  


Salon of Shorts

Ongoing: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 7:30pm

Cotuit Center for the Arts offers an open mic series called Salon of Shorts on the third Wednesday of each month in the Art Studio. Award-winning poets, playwrights, and spoken word performers Christine Rathbun Ernst and Gregory Hischak host the series, which encompasses all types of performances: poetry, storytelling, essay reading, music, performance art, improv, and stand-up.

Happy Hour with Celeste Howe and Malcolm Granger

Kicking off July 1st ~ the return of Friday Happy Hour at the Cotuit Center For the Arts!

Come Join Celeste Howe as she sings your favorite songs from Bacharach to Berlin and everything in between. Malcolm Granger will be tinkling the ivories as this Cape Cod vocal treasure delights you with sincere and soulful song. Enjoy your cocktails and enjoy this musical ride that’s sure to delight. Share your knowledge of song during our moments of trivia ~ there will be prizes!

Wine & Music Wednesday - July 2016

Wine and Music Wednesday is an open house held in our Gallery on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, with wine tasting and live music.

The first event was held in March of 2010 and it has become a very popular event at the Center. It’s the perfect way to end your day, start your evening or just join friends for a night out looking at terrific art. Tickets are just $10 or $5 for members and are only available at the door.

Brazen Belles Burlesque

August 10-13 

Summer Sizzle and Va Va Va Voom...The Brazen Belles return to Cotuit Center for the Arts!

This August the Center will travel back in time to the good old days of vaudeville.  We are pleased to present the Brazen Belles, a Cape Cod based burlesque troupe. The Belles bring a variety of talents: singing, dancing, acting, wit, sass, and of course, seduction to the stage.

Square Dance

We’ll have plenty of room to do-si-do at our first authentic square dance.  Professional live calling and great music ensure this will be a rip-roaring evening celebrating one of the most popular American dance forms.  Come early for a group lesson, and then prepare to swing your partner round and round.

Come celebrate the 16th year of our horrifyingly fun Halloween dance party -- this year's theme will be "Sweet Sixteen Zombie Prom Night!"  Time to party with the undead!

Enjoy music, dancing, and “bone-chilling” refreshments.
